What order do i Drink the juices in?

Your cleanse kit will come with a form that our juice team will fill out listing your juices in order and describing the juices’ ingredients. Each bottle will also have a number on the lid that corresponds to the sheet. Each day drink your juices in order #1-6.

When Do I Drink Each Juice?

Try to space them relatively evenly, drinking them 2-3 hours apart. Drink a juice whenever you are feeling hungry or would normally have a meal. Aim to finish all juices at least one hour before bed.

Will i LoSe Weight?

Your cleanse is a short-term solution to weight loss; HOWEVER, it is a wonderful way to jumpstart your path to a healthier way of life and weight loss plan. Use the cleanse as a way to start fresh, giving your body the chance to reset and detoxify before setting off on your healthy eating journey. At Aloha we believe that whole plant-based foods are the answer to many of life’s ailments and can open the door for an overall more fulfilled lifestyle.

Can I Drink Coffee During my Juice Cleanse?

Juice cleansing is aimed at reducing the acidity of the body, so coffee/caffeine can sometimes be detrimental to this process. Ideally, try to cut out caffeine during your cleanse - consuming a small amount each day won’t hurt but try to limit it to one cup of coffee per day. You may even find that you don’t crave it as much since the cleanse may give you extra energy! Green tea is also a great alternative option to coffee. If you add milk to your coffee make sure it is plant-based milk! Herbal, non-caffeinated teas are always okay to consume during your cleanse.

How much water should i drink?

Drink plenty of water! It is important to stay hydrated during cleansing. Juices contain some hydrating content but are not a replacement for plain water. Drinking water can be helpful if you are feeling hungry in between juices and can also help the body flush out toxins more efficiently. If you’d like you can squeeze a little lemon in your water to boost its detoxifying capabilities.

Helpful Tip: After you drink each juice, fill the bottle with drinking water, swirl and drink. That way you will make sure you are drinking water after every juice, and you can get the last bits of juice from inside the bottle.

can i exercise during my cleanse?

Very rigorous exercise is not recommended as you will be consuming only a very small number of calories. Some gentle exercise like walking, stretching, or yoga is helpful for stimulating the body’s digestive process (and to relieve any anxiety or boredom you may have during your cleanse).

What if i don’t feel well during my cleanse?

Your cleanse is ridding your body of toxins and bringing it back to a more alkaline state. This change of chemistry can sometimes cause you to feel a little off. A decrease in energy, body aches, mood swings, and other side effects are normal. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water, getting enough sleep, and finding ways to ease anxiety. Certain organs are also associated with certain emotions. Your body is working hard to cleanse itself during this time, so your organs may be stimulating emotional responses. Focus on stress-relieving activities to calm your mind.

What Do I Do After my cleanse?

Take it easy on your body! You have just flushed out a lot of harmful toxins and returned your body to a cleaner, more natural state. Don’t jump straight into eating giant meals or binging on unhealthy foods. Start small and slowly allow yourself to transition into a normal eating pattern. For the first few days after your cleanse, eat an abundance of fruits and vegetables and avoid dairy, meat, alcohol, and fried foods.  We also encourage you to use your experience with the cleanse as a steppingstone towards healthier overall habits. Eating more fruits and vegetables, consuming an adequate amount of water, and reducing (or eliminating) your intake of sugar, caffeine, alcohol, and animal products are all helpful steps towards a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.

Helpful Tip: Cleansing essentially returns your body to a blank slate. If you have been concerned or suspicious about a food allergy or sensitivity, your juice cleanse may be a good opportunity to pinpoint what is causing you trouble. After your cleanse, slowly re-introduce certain foods back into your diet and you may be able to get a better sense of which food is the culprit.
